Mount Lemmon, Arizona
Tucson's best kept secret in the mountains!
The 27-mile scenic drive up to Mt. Lemmon offers a picturesque ride plenty of opportunities for breathtaking photos and relief from hot temperatures all year round.
Come visit Mt. Lemmon – step out of the desert and into the fresh mountain air. Come enjoy amazing views and outdoor activities.
Mount Lemmon Lodge
Be sure to extend your visit and stay at the new luxurious and rustic Mount Lemmon Lodge, or opt for a stay in one of the hotel’s cozy cabins. A handful of them are pet-friendly. On-site is Beyond Bread for casual eats, and a cute gift shop with local treasures and handmade items only found here.
The 16 guestrooms are chalet inspired and each has it’s own special name (ours was Bluebird and a photo and description was posted outside the room) A nice treat they provide is complimentary fresh coffee in the morning, set-up on the guestroom floor.
Across the street is Mt. Lemmon General Store for souvenirs and make sure to try their fresh homemade fudge. There are so many flavors – my favorite is the salted caramel toffee! Enjoy homemade pizza and indulge in a giant, warm cookie at Summerhaven’s Cookie Cabin Pizzeria down the street. The chocolate chip was my favorite!
Mt. Lemmon serves as an ideal destination for athletes and adventurers alike, with cycling events and scenic hikes. Visitors can camp, fish, and picnic amidst the pine-scented forests, or gaze at the stars at the Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter Observatory. Explore all the area has to offer with rock climbing, hiking/biking trails, and mountain biking, immersing yourself fully in the natural beauty and adventure of Mt. Lemmon. Skiing and snowboarding are popular activities at Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley.
